Katie is the supervising producer at Criminal Productions, which makes the podcasts Criminal, This Is Love, and Phoebe Reads A Mystery. Previously, Katie was the executive producer of the WNYC Studios podcast Death, Sex & Money. In 2021, the show was awarded the inaugural Best Interview Podcast Ambie Award by The Podcast Academy, and also won a 2018 Webby Award for best interview show.

 

Katie got her start in radio in Durham, North Carolina, at WUNC's The State of Things, and has also worked as a producer for WNYC's Soundcheck and SiriusXM's Martha Stewart Living Radio. Her work has been featured in The Atlantic, Modern Loss, The Dallas Morning News, and Time Out New York, and on Marketplace, NPR's Life Kit, and Jazz at Lincoln Center Radio.
